The National Specialty is being held in Louisville, KY, this year and is in tribute to beloved AKC Judge Beverly Lehnig. Beverly passed on last year and was a long-time Silky Terrier fancier/breeder. She even wrote a book about the breed. Beverly was an all-breed judge and is missed by many. Ch Shalee Tawnymist Royal Silk, ROMX (pictured) is the only Silky Terrier that Beverly Lehnig ever awarded a Best In Show to.Silky Terrier fanciers will be attending from around the United States and from as far away as Australia. Our national changes regions each year and there are competitions in Agility, Obedience, Confirmation as well as seminars and our annual meetings.
